I don’t think a day went by in Italy that I didn’t eat pizza and pasta. I just couldn’t get enough. This was pretty good for my first Italian pizza!
I’ve never seen so many motor scooters and bikes……
As we’re riding along in our huge motor bus the motor scooters are flying by on the left hoping no one is coming around the next corner and the guys on the bikes are teaching us Italian words the tour guide says we should quickly forget. Today is Sunday and the roads are clogged with the locals who are all heading to the beach.
Everywhere you look the view just gets better and better!
Andiamo! (Let’s go!)
Bees Buzz Italy
I’m going to Italy!!! For those of you who know me you know this is my dream trip. I will be traveling with one of the bee’s. Unfortunately the others couldn’t make the trip so its up to Kathy and I to represent the group. We will be going with a tour group called “Gutsy Women Travelers”.
I’m leaving home on June 15th and my first stop will be in Newark New Jersey. (I told you it was a gutsy woman tour!). I have a nine hour layover while waiting for my connecting flight so my plan is to take the train into New York and spend an afternoon in Manhattan. Once I head back to the airport my real adventure begins!
See you in a few days…..
Well I never made it to New York. I stayed up all night worried that I would forget something or sleep through my alarm. By the time I got to Newark I was exhausted! The airport was the worse airport I’ve very been in. No good food! I could just hope that my vacation would get better.
By the time we boarded the plane to Germany I started to get excited again. I no sooner sat down when I had my first bee “sighting”. I decided to listen to some music and tuned to Blake Sheldon singing Honey Bee. I feel comfortable knowing the bees are with me.
I watched a movie, some tv shows and ate dinner before I fell asleep dreaming of the adventures that awaited.
